We're delighted that over 43,000 children chose to join the Ford Aussie Hoops program this year. In celebration of their participation and commitment, we're excited to announce that one Ford Aussie Hooper from each State and Territory will earn a spot on our 2023 All-Star Squad.

Each winner will also win an Australian Opals/Boomers Spalding basketball, plus a limited customised All-Star Jersey.

Coach of the Year

We deeply value and recognise the significant time and effort invested by our volunteer coaches in ensuring the successful delivery of our program. The Ford Aussie Hoops Coach of the Year award aims to acknowledge those coaches who are committed to developing basketball skills and instilling enthusiasm in young hoopers who are engaged in the program.

The winning coach will receive a Ford Aussie Hoops Coaching Prize Pack valued at $500 and a Coaching Development opportunity in their home state with a Basketball Australia Coach Mentor.

Centre of the Year

We take pride in the vital role your centres play within your communities as they nurture the growth of young athletes. The Ford Aussie Hoops Centre of the Year award recognises those centres that excel in player development, community engagement, coaching support, and volunteerism.

The winning centre will receive a Ford Aussie Hoops Centre pack, national recognition as the Ford Aussie Hoops Centre of the Year, and media coverage to celebrate your accomplishments.

All submissions close at 5:00pm AEST on 8 December 2023.

Winners will be announced via Aussie Hoops social platforms at 5:00pm AEST on 21 December 2023.
